Self-initiated concept / UI & Visual Design
Money
Bloom
I designed MoneyBloom as a self-initiated desktop finance tracker, organising balances, budgets, goals and transactions in one dashboard.
The dashboard needed to show balances, budgets, goals and transactions without turning the page into an undifferentiated table.
I grouped information by task and used scale, spacing and one accent colour to separate overview data from detailed records.
Product hypothesis and competitor teardown, wireframes, a type and colour system, high-fidelity dashboard, budget, transaction and goals screens, plus lifestyle and campaign visuals.
01 / The idea
Keep detailed finance data scannable.
Audience
People who actively track balances, budgets, transactions and goals.
Why desktop-first
The wider layout keeps summary data and detailed records visible together.
Status
Self-initiated concept based on a product hypothesis and competitor review — no live product.
02 / Approach
From references to wireframes and final UI.
I reviewed comparable finance products, mapped the core information groups, created wireframes and then defined the high-fidelity interface.
03 / Key decisions
Hierarchy instead of deletion.
Scannability
A fixed KPI row up top, then everything grouped by decision — spend, budget, goals — so even a full transaction table never reads as a wall.
Accent
One lime accent on dark surfaces marks only what needs attention; the data stays calm even when there is a lot of it.
04 / Applications
Extending the interface into campaign visuals.
I reused the colour, typography and dashboard imagery in lifestyle and campaign compositions. This is a self-initiated concept with no usability testing or launch data.
Selected exploration
From structure to a desktop finance interface.
Five views show how I organised the information, designed the core dashboard and extended the visual language.
